This Rapid Gender Analysis (RGA) seeks to deepen the existing analysis of the COVID-19 pandemic by utilizing an intersectional lens around gender, race, and class to explore its impact on different populations, changing roles and responsibilities within the home and on the frontlines of the crisis, and access to health and other essential services as a result of the pandemic.
Joining CARE will be local partner Women Against Abuse, who will lead a community education session on how the intersection of different kinds of oppression makes intimate partner violence one of the most persistent and hidden forms of violence we encounter in our communities, cities, and nation. The good news- there is something we can all do about it. First, we have to develop and commit to building, a new culture of how to engage with love.
