Join YIP and Fair Districts PA (FDPA) to learn about the problem of gerrymandering in Pennsylvania, and how it impacts us as Philadelphians. After an introduction to the issue, we'll talk about how each of us can fight for the solution and make a difference in this issue. You'll leave with tips and tricks and action items to complete to help get shit done for our city and our state.

Young Involved Philadelphia (YIP) builds relationships and increases civic engagement to empower and connect young citizens in Philadelphia. YIP accomplishes these objectives through civic education, exposure to volunteer opportunities, social events, and civic advocacy around key issues facing the city. 

Fair Districts PA is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization fighting for fair voting districts and a stronger democracy in Pennsylvania. FDPA is a statewide coalition of organizations and individuals working to create a process for redistricting that is transparent, impartial, and fair.
